Open Enrollment (OE) for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on October 30, 2023, at 10 AM.

  • The first Open Enrollment period will be held from October 30, 2023, through January 22, 2024. The first lottery draw will be held on January 23, 2024.
  • Open Enrollment periods will then be on a continual basis with lotteries held as vacancies are available.
  • Students currently attending the school will receive first preference.
  • Current / returning student registration will be held from November 27, 2023, to January 5, 2024. Notices for reapplication will be sent through Aspire on November 27, 2023.

Enrollment Information

Only enroll your student in the lottery for the campus at which you intend your student to attend. Enrolling at multiple campuses will not increase your chances of being accepted to the AAU campus of your choice.

The Lehi campus may enroll 816 students (grades K-9), the Farmington campus may enroll 544 students (grades K-9), the West Jordan campus may enroll 816 students (grades K-9), the Saratoga Springs campus may enroll 450 students (grades K-6), and the West Valley campus may enroll 525 students (grades K-6).

If the number of student applications exceeds the number of positions available at AAU, students will be randomly chosen to fill available positions; this process is referred to as a lottery. All applicants in the lottery pool will be considered, and a computerized lottery program will randomly select students. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings in an individual family, but this may not be possible due to the cap on class sizes and the lottery process. Siblings of students currently in the school will be given preference if openings become available.

Once you have applied for your student(s) to attend AAU, your child’s application will be held in the lottery pool until a vacancy is available or the Open Enrollment period ends. The lottery will be held after each Open Enrollment period. Families will be notified via e-mail of their child’s acceptance into the school through the computerized lottery program. Families selected will be notified of the next steps in the registration process and the timeline they will need to follow. If you do not receive a notice of enrollment after you submit your application, please assume nothing has changed in regard to your student’s enrollment status or you may check enrollment status through the enrollment portal.
