Ascent Academies of Utah Celebrates 10 Years of Educational Excellence
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - Ascent Academies of Utah is thrilled to announce its upcoming 10th-anniversary celebration, marking a decade of providing exceptional education to students in Utah. Since its inception in 2013, Ascent Academies has grown from two campuses with 1,100 students to five campuses serving over 2,800 students, a testament to its unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
To commemorate this significant milestone, Ascent Academies will be hosting a kick-off event on August 24th, 2023, from 5-7 pm, at a local park. The celebration will be open to all students, parents, and staff, and promises to be a memorable evening filled with fun activities and special recognitions.
The highlight of the event will be a hotdog BBQ, where attendees can indulge in delicious food and enjoy the camaraderie of the Ascent Academy community. A lively splash pad, vibrant music, and engaging face painting will ensure a festive atmosphere throughout the evening.
Furthermore, a brief ceremony will be held to honor and celebrate 26 employees who have dedicated their unwavering commitment to Ascent Academies since its inception. These remarkable individuals have been an integral part of Ascent Academies journey and will be presented with a special gift in recognition of their ten-year contribution.
Throughout the year-long celebration, each campus will host monthly events to highlight the achievements and progress made over the past decade. Ascent Academies is also excited to announce that a congratulatory video will be shared on social media platforms, featuring messages from esteemed dignitaries, including Governor Cox, Senator Adams, and mayors from each city. Additionally, Ascent Academies Lead Director, Wade Gathar, will express his gratitude to the entire Ascent Academies community and reflect on the journey of growth and success.
